Each item is hand poured into thoughtfully curated silicone molds with an eco resin called jesmonite. It's a combination of gypsum sand (used in cement) and acrylic resin. It's lighter and smoother in texture than cement and more water resisitant. It also can be colorized more vibrantly than cement. Once cast and fully cured, pieces are then sanded as needed and sealed with a cement wax.

Each item is made to order and, thus uniquely one of a kind. No two pieces will be the same. Colors and marbling patterns will vary considerably from piece to piece. And since these are all cast by hand, tiny air bubbles and imperfections will appear on the surface, especially on the bottom or back of the piece as is typical of the curing process.

I recently splurged on my dream machine - a small desktop laser cutter. And I'm having so much fun with it. While I'm still getting acclimated, I have managed to design and create a few items currently up on the site as well as some custom signage for my own pop up markets. There will definitely be more to come in the future!
